Treatment of Muscular Atrophy using a Video Game
Muscular atrophy is the loss of muscle tissue, caused by injury, inactivity or senility, which can be modified by exercising programs.
In this project, a video game is proposed to improve the muscular atrophy of disabled people sitting on wheelchairs. The game resembles the famous “Flappy Bird”, wherein the patient can control the flying height of the bird by raising his/her feet, which is detected via an optical sensor board.
