Neophobia (Fear of New Environments) Treatment in Children with Autism via Virtual Reality with Real Images
One of the problems of autistic children is Neophobia or fear of new environments, which provokes their non-social behaviors.
In this project, new environments that children may experience (parks, dentistry, supermarkets, etc.) were recorded by a 360° panoramic camera to allow the autistic child to virtually experience these environments as many times as needed, and get ready for real-world interactions.
